Soft words

The woods it speaks to me
With a calm and soft melody
One of acceptance and condolence
Telling to the depths of the heart will return no such a consequence
The woods you understand me inside and out
When fear overcomes I have no doubt
You are protecting me with your gracious might
Your presence is observant day or night
The woods it speaks to me
Now our connection is everlasting
For it is where I am resting forevermore happily.
By Robert K. Lehnhof

I got to explore Cathedral Grove this weekend. It was amazing and beautiful. The trees and moss were such a vivid green that it felt like i had stepped out into another world. Maybe Narnia or Teribethia! With each step I took I felt farther and farther away from this messed up world and closer to something magical, fresh and innocent. If only i could have stayed there forever. I'm so lucky to share adventures with u!

Why d'ya have to be so cute?

Skipping beats, blushing cheeks I am struggling
Daydreaming, bed scenes in the corner caf
And then i'm left in bits recovering tectonic tremblings
You get me every time

Why d'ya have to be so cute?
It's impossible to ignore you
Must you make me laugh so much
It's bad enough we get along so well
Say goodnight and go

Follow you home, you've got your headphones on and you're dancing
Got lucky, beautiful shot you taking everything off watch the curtains wide open
Then you fall in the same routine flicking through the TV relaxed and reclining
And you think you're alone...

Why d'ya have to be so cute?
It's impossible to ignore you
Must you make me laugh so much
It's bad enough we get along so well
Say goodnight and go

One of these days, you'll miss your train and come stay with me
We'll have drinks and talk about things, any excuse to stay awake with you
You'll sleep here, i'll sleep there, but then the heating may be down again
at my convenience
we'd be good, we'd be great together

Say goodnight and go,
why's it always always
goodnight and go
Darling not again
Goodnight and go
Goodnight and Go, Imogen Heap

Its amazing how bang on these song lyrics are. I listened to it today and saw you.
Not sure what that says but ya still trying to figure it out. This song it perfect though.
Perfect! Couldn't have said it better.

Dancing from China!

There are many times
when dancing is
the most unsupportable,
ridiculous,
unexpected,
and necessary action.

Life should be spent finding
these
moments and tap
dancing
through them.

Well what a beautiful evening! Me and Maddy here are well feeling good, laughing lots and have been dancing with china this fine evening. China is a wondrous place. Full of smoking hotties, good food and is just simply breathtaking. Dancing is necessary and ridiculous! It is sweet to dance from china and is recommended to all. We are regular dancers and like little miss sunshine just told us " We like to win, we ARE winners!"

Report for the night b4 sleepy time...............When life spins too fast for you ...............sit back, find your way to China and DANCE!
This is Madeline Hunter and Nikki Lock signing out. Good Night!

Vancouver, Crazy Vancouver!

Well that was an interesting weekend! Went to Vancouver with Maddy, Devin, Jilly, Ky, Lisa, Spencer, Michelle, Ace, Brianna, Tasia and Mike. Good times for the most bit. We got to tour two theaters and meet a bunch of theatre tech companies. Learned lots. And got second place in the "build a cool nifty contraption what will cannonball a bottle cap into a cup" Ya team! What seemed like a crazy tangled mess of fingers, elastic bands and Popsicle sticks pulled through and won us the most creative and inventive award! We rocked.
We got to stay at the YWCA in the coolest room ever. With 5 single beds, it felt like summer church camp all over again. Ky properly named our rockin room Nikmadjilliskydev! In honor of all the swell roomies staying there. I had the privilege of cuddling up to Maddy, sharing a single bed. Best snuggle buddy ever. Went out with Devin and got boozy. And ended up lost in downtown van till 5am!! SO the next morning was ruff getting up to tour the massey theatre but was worth the effort. Minus the really high catwalks and grid. A little scared of heights!
Then we proceed on our journey home. So we hoped on the sky train and the bus but ended up missing the 3 and 5 ferry so we got a little wandering and coffee time before finally making the 7 ferry. By the end we were sooooooooo cold and tired and ready for bed. My adventures ended with a hot bath, warm soup and a bed! The best conclusion known to man.

Well I haven't posted in what seems like a decade. Not too much has happened in the last few weeks. Back to the old drill. School, dance and foggy weather. Its amazing how the weather always seems to reflect my mind set for the day. If its sunny and bright..... I'm sunny and bright, If its cool and raining..........Guess what so am I. Its been gloomy and foggy for a couple of weeks and as the weather and my emotions stand there hand in hand, so have I. I've been down and sick and gloomy. Which just isn't right according to my last post that I am actually Cheer Bear. SO i think I'm in need of a serious boarding trip. I miss the snow. Its crazy I know! I miss the mountain and the rush and wait for it ............................ The Adrenaline! I haven't had a good shot of Adrenaline in a while and its time! Well I'm off to dream about the powder!

From my luxurious seat on the floor of the Vancouver Airport

Well after 6 hours of sitting in the airport trying to come up with exciting things to do, getting into planes, 2 attempts of ACTUALLY landing, getting out of planes and people buzzing around me, I AM STILL IN VANCOUVER!!! I may never make home again! Damn weather.

My first attempt consisted of sitting in the plane for about ½ an hour, driving around on the runway for a bit and then a return to the lovely airport! New tickets and a 2 hour wait! So I search for exciting entertainment but find nothing but a strawberry smoothie and a trashy magazine. Blaaaa.........

But good news I hop onto the next flight and we actually take off and speed though the air to our destination! We are landing! I can see the runway! I am home! Wait........We are turning around. Too foggy and rainy! So I'm headed back to Vancouver! Get off the plane. Once again get new tickets and need to wait 2 more hours! O Joy!

So I decide to venture out and find food, glorious FOOD! Subway! Stuff my face and for a moment feel better. Till the damn security people confiscate my water bottle i got to keep me going. YES I HAVE A BOMB IN MY BOTTLE! So now I sit and wait for the moment of truth and destiny! Will this last flight make it or will we have to turn around. And try again in the morning. I think I have cabin fever and am starting to hallucinate! Must get out! Must find bed! Well they are calling my flight AGAIN so here i go. Wish me luck. Will i find my home tonight? Or a lonely hotel? Come on airplane! You can do it!!!
